Non-Prophet Week News

Only two days left until the end of Non-Prophet Week and I get my evenings back. Societies have been proudly wearing their t-shirts up and down the country and proving that charity is indeed secular and not only for the religious.

As always in the student week, Wednesday was quiet so we decided to do Wednesday and Thursday updates together. The current total stands at £1629.42. Still no donations of blood - guys the earlier you get over your phobia of needles the better!

Yesterday’s Quiz Night ran by Southampton Atheist Society went well. They had lots of fun and raised £37 for Children in Need.

Day 1 of the AHS’s second Non-Prophet Week has been a resounding success, raising £1,035.42 for charity!

The AHS's annual charity drive, Non-Prophet Week, is approaching fast, and new events are being announced across the UK and ROI with more and more money likely to be raised. The money will go to secular charities, primarily Children in Need, in the spirit of helping people in poverty.

We at the AHS are extremely excited for our upcoming charity week, Non-Prophet Week. With almost 30 events expected to take place during the week, including cakes, singing, hiking, drawing, quizzes, raffles, sponsored silences, blood donations, organ donation register joining, bucket shaking and t-shirts!

With Freshers' Weeks out of the way and exactly a month until Non-Prophet Week, AHS societies have been putting their thinking caps on to arrange the most successful and imaginative Non-Prophet Week events possible.
